St Stephen’s offers academic support both in the application process and through specialist courses aimed at equipping the future students with the academic skills needed when studying at the UK higher education institutions.

University Preparation Course

During the course you will have a chance to get familiar with the academic programmes at British universities, find out more about the British life and culture, get help and assistance when applying to a higher education institution.
There are a number of subjects to choose from- from history, through politics to international relations. Find out more about British life and culture and the essential study skills through subject focused lecture-like and seminar-like workshops. The focus of the course is on the essay writing skills, note taking, research skills, preparing and giving an oral presentation, summarising, interpreting academic texts.

Academic Assistance

Get help and assistance when applying to a higher education institution. At St Stephen’s we offer assistance in interview preparation, writing a statement and filling in your application.
